Regulations Governing the
Harold M. Hultquist, P.E. Award
Purpose: To perpetuate the undaunting work of Harold M. Hultquist, P.E., who worked untiringly on behalf of the Chapter and its purposes, and who is Secretary/Treasurer of the Chapter in Michigan. To that end, this award shall recognize outstanding service to the Chapter as a member, primarily at the Chapter level.
Type of Award: The award shall consist of a mounted metal plaque funded by Chapter, established for this purpose. It is intended that the powers of the Michigan Chapter APWA Executive Board, with respect to this Award, be exercised with a minimum of restriction so that the purposes of the award are effectuated.
Nominations: Nominations of worthy candidates can be made to the Chapter through an Executive Board Officer in writing.
Selection of The award will be made by the Michigan Chapter APWA Executive
Awardee: Board upon the recommendation of the Awards Committee to that person who, in the opinion of the Michigan Chapter APWA Executive Board deserves recognition for work performed on behalf of Michigan Chapter. It shall not be required that this service occur in the year in which the Award is made. It may be for prior service. The Committee shall report its recommendation(s) to the Michigan Chapter APWA Executive Board at the Board’s regular March meeting and shall include in its report a profile of the recommended candidate and the names of other nominees.
Method of The award shall be made during the annual Chapter meeting.
Must be, or has been a member of APWA.
